We empower our customers in their search for a reliable cleaner by giving them access to the best cleaners across the UK, Ireland and France, where they have the ability to view ratings, read reviews, and instantly book and pay for a cleaner online. Easy.
Our mission is clear: be simple, reliable, and Hassle-free. We exist to give time back to busy people, allowing them to free up their time to focus on the better things in life, such as spending time with their friends and family, or just having an extra hour or three to relax during the week.
Not only does Helpling benefit our customers, but it benefits our cleaners too. We're proud to represent our vetted cleaners who work with Helpling to find customers, take control of their working hours, manage their bookings and get paid on time, every time.
While trying to find a piano teacher online, one of our co-founders, Jules, realised it was a harder task than it should be. Thus, Teddle was born, offering customers the ability to book a wide variety of home services.
Fast forward to 2012, we found that cleaning was the most requested home service on our platform. We rebuilt, and rebranded! Helpling was born.
After phenomenal growth, we raised a £6m round from investors, most notably from Accel Partners, the same investors behind Facebook & Dropbox.
Ahmed left his home country, Sierra Leone, five years ago to start a new life in the UK. Ahmed’s home was bombed, his father sadly died and his family had to try to rebuild their lives.
